CAVS - Family Mentoring Service
There’s no guide book on being a parent or carer. Facing challenges on a daily basis is part of everyday life, but when they become overwhelming you may need a helping hand. You may be facing any of the following and we are here to help: managing children’s behaviour, relationships, routines, low level mental health concerns e.g. anxiety, bullying, bereavement, managing finances, isolation, employment support and training, domestic abuse and family changes – e.g., new baby.

The CAVS Family Mentoring Service provides a network of support to families with children aged between pre-birth and 19 years who live or attend school in Castle Point. Families are allocated an exerienced, non-judgemental support worker or volunteer peer mentor,to work alongside them helping build on their strengths,whilst developing skills and resilience to help make positive and long lasting change.
