BOSP: Family Support

Brighter Opportunities for Special People offers further support for families. BOSP Counselling is delivered by qualified Psychological Therapist/Integrative Counsellors. BOSP understands the challenges of caring for a child or young person with a disability or life-limiting illness, the effects it can have on the entire family and the impact having a disability can have on an individual’s self-esteem and well-being.

Counselling sessions are available for parents or carers who have a child or young person with a disability, siblings (young carers), grandparents or the child/ young person with the disability or life-limiting illness. Sessions take place virtually or face to face in Romford. Counselling does have costs which are greatly subsidised.
