ECC - Blood Pressure Monitors in Essex Libraries
Essex residents aged 18 and over can borrow a blood pressure monitor for free from any of Essex's 74 local libraries or two mobile libraries. Monitors are available to library members for up to two weeks, allowing people to check and monitor their blood pressure at home. No GP referral is required. The scheme makes it easier for residents to take an active role in managing their health, understand their blood pressure readings and follow the advice and guidance provided. Anyone who is not already a library member can join
